    KEEP SPEAKING THE WORD

    “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go” Joshua 1:9

    It was the morning of her first paper, but Jane wasn’t herself. Though she had confidently prepared for the exam, she woke up that morning feeling a headache. At first, she ignored it, but when it persisted, she placed a hand on her head and commanded the headache to leave in Jesus’ Name. To her surprise, the ache became worse after a few minutes. At school, her friends petted her and asked if she’d be able to take the exam. “Yes, I will. The headache can’t stop me; I’ve told it to leave,” she declared boldly. Indeed, her words came to pass. She fully regained herself just before the paper began.

    Some believers easily lose heart and allow fear to take hold of them when the change they desire isn’t forthcoming. But Jane stood her ground against the headache. She maintained her confession even when negative thoughts and unpleasant pictures flashed across her mind.

    I encourage you never to give in, irrespective of the ordeal you may be facing. Your faith is the victory that overcomes the world. In Mark 9:23, Jesus said, “…Anything is possible for someone who has faith!” (CEV). Your faith-filled words will prevail. Even if things seem not to be working out despite your declarations, don’t say, “O God, why me?” Rather, keep proclaiming your victory, and you’ll go through successfully!

    CONFESSION

    Victory is mine always, because I dwell in Christ Jesus. I refuse to accommodate fear or doubt in my heart. I’m filled with the Word of God. And as I release my faith through words, situations are turning around for my good, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

    2 Samuel 22:35,40 He trains my hands for battle;
    my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
    You armed me with strength for battle;
    you humbled my adversaries before me.

    You shall have an awesome day in Jesus Name.
